ABOUT

I am a British-Polish composer and performer currently based in Manchester. After finishing my undergraduate music degree at the University of Manchester I then completed a masters in composition at the RNCM, where I was awarded the Composition Gold Medal award in my second year. I have written concert music, composed for media, released multiple albums on streaming, arranged for the RNCM Session Orchestra, and performed solo and ensemble recitals as both pianist and physical performer. As a composer, I've worked with a variety of groups and performers including the London Sinfonietta, Riot Ensemble, and the RNCM Brand New Orchestra.

My musical output is diverse and embraces a range of styles, aesthetics, and methods. In recent concert music I've developed an interest in exploring memory and the perception of time, as well as the relationship between live, acoustic sound and recorded material. A lot of my current work engages with existing or 'found' material, such as the orchestral piece ’03/09/24, 18:19’ which is constructed from an orchestration of a short field recording.
